Hollywood stars Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are separating after two years of marriage
Lopez filed for divorce on Tuesday in Los Angeles administrative court, according to documents seen by the BBC.
The couple, dubbed Bennifer by the tabloid, married in July 2022 in Las Vegas and had a grand wedding ceremony in Georgia the following month.
Their romance began after they met on the set of the 2003 crime film Gigli. They had originally intended to marry that same year, but broke off their relationship in early 2004.
Court documents show that Lopez or her attorney must provide Affleck with a copy of his motion to dissolve the marriage.
