Aishwarya Rai, also known by her married name Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, is an Indian actress, model and the winner of the Miss World 1994 pageant. She made her acting debut in 1997 with a dual role in Mani Ratnam's Tamil political drama film Iruvar. Aishwarya Bollywood debut that same year in the romantic comedy Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya opposite Bobby Deol.
