Barcelona Player Ronald Araujo Injury and now Safe and Awake in Hospital

Barcelona defender Ronald Araujo hospitalized after a league game against Celta Vigo.

Around an hour after the 3-1 win at Camp Nou, his teammate Gabi hit her head and sustained an injury.

He underwent a lengthy field treatment before the ambulance picked him up. Xavi Hernandez brought good news to Ronald Fedeli after the defender fled in a Celta ambulance after sustaining a head injury in a collision with Gabi.

At Camp Nou there were horrific images of Arauja falling and being taken to hospital by ambulance. Barca confirmed that Araujo was suffering from a concussion and that Xavi eased Uruguay's condition.

Barcelona star Ronald Araujo is safe and waking up in hospital after a terrifying moment during a clash with Celta Vigo. Araujo got up after the incident and ran to his box before falling to the ground. 

His teammates immediately reported treatment and were taken to an ambulance - and after the initial inconvenience of the rescue, Araujo was taken to a local hospital.

Barca confirmed the Uruguayan suffered a concussion shortly after and that he was conscious and sensitive. It will be a huge relief for the Barca fan and Araujo family after the horrible photos from the Camp Nou.

Araujo needs to be tested before he's allowed to leave the hospital and given that time (usually a few days) he has to leave football to recover.
