Davy Morgan Dies an Accident During the Isle of Man TT Supersport race
An experienced motor cyclist from Northern Ireland has died on the Isle of Man TT.
Davy Morgan died after the incident on the third and final lap of the first super sports race.
A 52-year-old boy from Saintfield has been running for nearly 30 years.
The 2022 Isle of Man TT organizers have confirmed that Davy Morgan has died in an accident during the first super sports race on Monday morning.
But towards the end of the last lap, he crashed on stage 27. Likewise, many top contenders rushed into a grandstand to complete the race.
A red flag was raised preventing the riders from staying on the track, but Morgan succumbed to his injury.
Morgan is a very experienced TT rival and has competed in every TT since his debut in 2002. In addition to the lightweight top TT, he finished number 7 in the 2006 Senior TT and had 25 Top 20 TT results.
