Sad News: Former WWE Referee Dave Hebner died at the age of 73.
His illness was revealed by former racing driver Hermie Sadler, who experienced several times in professional wrestling on May 28th. Hebner has previously been shown to have Parkinson's disease.
Dave Hebner started as a WWE referee in the 80's and wanted to be part of some classic battles.
On February 5, 1988, at the NBC Special called the WWF Main Event, Dave Hebner was the referee for the WWF World Heavyweight Match between Hulk Hogan and Andre the Giant.
The show was seen by 33 million viewers. This is the highest record in professional wrestling history in the United States. Hebner worked at WWF / E and from the camera until 2005, after which he worked briefly at TNA Wrestling.
He later became part of total non-stop action wrestling, and Dave's nephew Brian Hebner was also a referee for years.
Dave Hebner was part of a failed class action against WWE by lawyer Konstantin Kiros, who claimed that the artist suffered "long-term neurological damage."
