Everton's Beto is conscious and talking after being carried off with a head wound.
Sean Dyche has confirmed that Everton striker Beto is conscious and talking after suffering a head injury during his side's 2-0 win over Nottingham Forest.
Beto was injured in a drunken collision with Forest midfielder Morgan Gibbs-White.
Everton players immediately referred Beto for medical attention, with several players visibly shaken after the incident.
Play was stopped for more than six minutes while the Portuguese forward received medical attention.
He was eventually taken off on a stretcher and was seen crossing his fingers as he left the field, cheered by both fans. He was replaced by Youssef Chermit in the 100th minute.
