Loana Lecomte Horrible Fall in Women's Mountain Bike Event At Paris 2024 Olympics

When entering the rock garden, Laona Lecomte suffered a horrible fall after falling on the handlebars.

French cyclist Loana Lecomte was injured on Sunday (July 28) after a horrific fall during the women's mountain bike event at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

Lecomte took the lead from the start of the race but was quickly overtaken by her compatriot Pauline Ferrand-Prevot. The 24-year-old was part of the pursuit group and was fighting for his first Olympic medal. When entering the rock garden, Laona Lecomte suffered a horrible fall after falling on the handlebars.

The Annecy native remained unconscious for a moment when he hit him in the head after a fall. Laona Lecomte received immediate medical attention and was taken from the field on a stretcher. The video of the horror spread on social networks.

According to a report from L'Equipe, Loana Lecomte, one of France's medal hopes, suffered head and jaw injuries after the terrifying accident. Loana Lecomte was not seriously injured because she is fit and stable.
